Hey, here’s some long overdue catch-up. After a hike along the coast in Acadia and brunch in Bar Harbor, we drove to the White Mountains in New Hampshire to camp overnight before heading into the Green Mountains of Vermont the next day.
Our van, now known fondly as Vanny, barely made it up over the long climb into Lincoln from Warren. But we made it, and promptly enjoyed margaritas and guacamole upon arriving at my friend Lisa’s amazing place. We all played badminton and had a tasty dinner under the stars and fireflies.
The next morning, Lisa and James’s buddy Jason showed us how to use chainsaws. We tore up some tiny saplings for a few minutes before heading to the river for a dip.
It’s really important to look at the camera while you are using a chainsaw.
